The AutoFry Air Filtration System is designed with a traditional grease baffle, a fine mesh filter and an activated, live (coconut) charcoal filter, with air venting from the top. Other ventless fryers on the market use a baffle and HEPA filter. In the United States, some municipalities don’t permit a HEPA filter due to the way that it collects grease. Other ventless fryers on the market also filter air from the back side of the machine, creating potential hazards as moisture collects and drips below to the electrical outlet.
LESS MOVING PARTS - RELIABILITY
AutoFry has two moving parts (three for double basket models), providing less opportunity for breakdown. Our manual food chute is easy to operate, trouble free, and easy to clean. Other ventless deep fryers use an automated feed system where you load the front receiving tray with fries while one batch is cooking and a mechanism pulls the product into the oil once the initial product has dispensed. But this is still a manual process! Furthermore, the additional small moving parts related to this automatic system provide additional opportunities for a product jam, clog or break down.
ANSUL FIRE SUPPRESSION
The AutoFry Fire Suppression System is designed by ANSUL, the leading supplier of fire suppression systems in the world. UL certified, our system is equipped with a manual pull system and two fusible links, with one link located within the ventilation shaft to close the fire damper and contain flames. In addition to the fire system safety circuit pressure switch, the AutoFry Fire Suppression System is also equipped with a Building Egress Pressure switch should you want to connect with the building alarm system.
